Tofino is located on the West Coast of Vancouver Island. This ocean-side community is surrounded by the Pacific Rim National Park and is a great location to use as a base camp to set of on your wildlife spotting adventures. Opportunities including whale watching, wolves and bears. 

The beaches are stunning with the forest coming right down to the ocean. Tofino was the only location on my two visits to BC Canada where I saw bears.
