New York City has an impressive amount of green-space that has been set aside for New Yorkers to enjoy. The New York Department of Parks and Recreation do an amazing job managing the parks that spread out across this metropolis. Of course this space is not only available for people’s enjoyment, many animals that call New York home take advantage of these sanctuaries. Central Park is the biggest, but there are plenty of others for you to explore.
